Tulips at the ranch management statue

Hello all,

It seems like spring is here with mesquite trees looking to put out, cattle still on wheat starting to really gain, and spring works right around the corner. I hope this letter finds you all soaking up the recent moisture that hit a lot of us this past week.

This is a busy time of year for all of us, but I hope you will find time and consider helping out where you can with our fellow alumni (and everyone else) that were affected by the fires this last month. There are several ways to donate financially, i.e.-TSCRA, WRCA, Ranch Management Alumni Assn., and several local and county fundraisers and relief funds that have been set up as well. In the coming weeks, the men and women affected will be needing physical help and material, too, and that is where you can step in. It is times like this that show how tight knit and strong our alumni base and industry as a whole really are.

The TSCRA Convention starts tomorrow and we hope to see you all there. Stop by and visit the folks working the TCU Ranch Management booth and make plans to be at the Ranch Manage-ment Alumni reception. The current class is rockin’ and rollin’ with coursework, plans, and field trips but will be there at the convention, so please introduce yourself and get to know this great group of men and women.

As always, if you have a prospective student or someone who may be interested in the program, please get them in touch with an instructor, the office, or myself. The seats are filling up fast for next year with good quality individuals who will help keep this program at the top of its kind where it ought to be.

If there is anything I can help with, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
